Really enjoyed our week here. The hotel was clean and stylish, with a nice bar, lovely restaurant, and a small swimming pool with a gym next door. Set in a little canal area with boats coming and going. You definitely need a car, but parking is free and plenty of space. The rooms were spacious, well decorated, quiet, the bed comfortable and the shower was gorgeous. The staff were exceptional and the biggest selling point, especially at breakfast, they just didn’t stop. They were courteous, friendly and knowledgeable about places to visit. The management should be proud of them all. Well situated being close to the M53, so easy to tour Wales, Liverpool, Manchester etc. Cheshire Oaks is only one junction away and has a Vue cinema and loads of eating places next to it. Highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel staff were great. Everyone we encountered were great with us and our children. On arrival they were fab with the children and there was some Easter colouring in the lobby. Staff at breakfast were great, the breakfast food was really nice. I’m a bit funny with cooked breakfast food but it looked nice and tasted nice. It was my daughter’s birthday and I felt everyone queen above and beyond to ensure she felt really special and had an amazing time during our stay. Only reason review isn’t 100% amazing was that the key card kept playing up and we had to go down and get it re-set a few times. Absolutely brilliant experience for the price. Comfy double beds x two where as many family rooms have one double and one sofa bed or two single beds.

First of all the staff were so helpful and friendly. We got into our room a little early, and it was lovely. One comfy king bed, lots of space, and very clean. The lady at reception offered to book us a table in the restaurant and went out of her way to ensure all my allergies were catered for. A BIG bonus for me. The chef even wrote a list of all the dishes I could eat and made some modifications, and I have to say, the bangers and mash were delicious! The breakfast choices were vast, including cooked items, cereals, pastries, breads, and various cold meats and cheeses. All with a pretty water view. We would definitely recommend this hotel if you find yourself in the area.

We like the location as it's near the canal and there is no traffic noise. Our rooms were large, well equipped and clean with blackout curtains, a well stocked refreshments tray, large TV and hairdryer. The breakfast was good - lots of choice and a good supply of hot food which was regularly replenished and staff walking around to check if you needed anything and to remove dirty plates and crockery. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When my partner's mother accidentally pulled the emergency cord in her accessible room (large with a great wet room) we were pleased by how quickly the staff responded with two coming to her 'rescue' and another phoning our room.

The warmest welcome at reception set the tone for the weekend. All the staff were professional, friendly and extremely helpful. A lot of hotels have lost this very personal touch. The location of the hotel is lovely - a real hidden gem. The room was spotless and very comfortable with lots of pillows and big soft fluffy towels. Dinner was delicious, Sweet potato soup, fish & chips followed by sticky toffee pudding with custard. All meals were fresh, hot, well presented and good value. The breakfast was lovely with a great choice and plenty of staff so no waiting to place orders. I can't wait to stay again especially for the food and service. Thank you everyone
